  • Do You Offer A 24 Emergency Service?

    No, we don't offer a 24-hour service, but if a customer contacts us during the day and depending on work schedules that day, we will do our best to get to them.

  • What is an EICR, and do Cirencester landlords legally require one?

    An EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) is a formal survey that checks the safety and efficiency of a property's electrical system. By UK law, private landlords in Cirencester and across Gloucestershire must have a valid EICR carried out at least once every 5 years, or at the start of any new tenancy. We provide fully certified EICR testing for local landlords, estate agents, and home buyers, ensuring your property is completely compliant.

    Absolutely, all of our electricians are fully qualified, insured, and registered with the NICEIC.  All of our domestic work is fully compliant with Part P building regulations, meaning we legally sign off, certify, and log our installations directly with local building control on your behalf.

    A 'Tripping' circuit breaker or RCD ('Trip Switch') can be caused by any of a number of reasons; 90% of the time, it will be a faulty appliance or a relatively simple issue to resolve. Some simple tests and checks can help narrow down the root cause and solve the issue quickly and efficiently.

    We are based in Cirencester, and we cover the Cotswold area. We look after both domestic and commercial clients in South Cerney, Kemble, Siddington, Stratton, Fairford, Tetbury, and Lechlade. In essence, everywhere within a 20-mile radius of Cirencester town centre.

  • Does Your Have Experience Working In Older Cotswold Properties?

    Yes, we have been established since 1987 and have since worked on literally hundreds of barn conversions and cottage renovations during the 4 decades since.


    Older properties require a different skill set that is not prevalent in less experienced electricians. Delicate, crumbling structures, lathe and plaster ceilings, thick Cotswold stone walls all require a considered approach.

    The cost is dependent on the number of circuits, along with some other factors. Prices typically start from £400 +VAT

  • Fuse Board Not Working Correctly

    If you are experiencing problems with your fuse board, it may be caused by an electrical fault on one of the circuits within your home. 


    Or it simply could be that it is time to replace your old-style fuse board with a modern consumer board.


    Either way, we will be able to give you an honest assessment of your circumstances and advise you on the best course of action to resolve the problems you are encountering.

  • Something Has Stopped Working

    If you are experiencing any electrical issue with something that has stopped working or is causing you electrical problems.


    We will try and fit you in ASAP to help deal with the problem you are experiencing.

  • Smaller Electrical Works: i.e. Replacing Socket, Light Switch etc

    If you have sockets, light or dimmer switches that have stopped working. Please feel free to contact us, we can book a time to come out and fit new sockets or switches for you.

  • EICR's (Electrical Installation Condition Reports)

    EICR's are often referred to in layman's terms as an electrical test. Such checks are sensible to carry out within domestic properties every 5 years so that you can identify electrical problems of potential problems before they occur.

  • Do You Have A Minimum Call Out Charge?

    Our minimum call  out charge is £45, and then any necessary parts needed are in addition to this charge.


    Please note that this minimum charge is for clients in Cirencester, we of course do travel further afield.  An additional charge for travel is added to this minimum charge.
